How to Check Apartment Subscription Dates in Korea
A step-by-step way to find special supply, first-priority and second-priority dates on Cheongyak Home, then confirm them in the official recruitment notice.

In this post
As of October 2026, the most reliable way to check a Korean apartment subscription (cheongyak) schedule is a three-step routine: scan the Cheongyak Home calendar, open the project in the APT sales information list, then confirm every date in the recruitment notice (ipjuja mojip gonggo). The calendar shows which projects take special supply, first-priority and second-priority applications on which weekday. The listing gives you the notice date, application window and winner announcement date. The notice is the final word on eligibility cut-off dates, local-resident days, paperwork and contract dates. Cheongyak Home itself warns on its listings page that the information may differ from the facts and that applicants must check the relevant recruitment notice before applying (Cheongyak Home APT listings). This guide does not cover any specific project; it explains a method you can reuse for any of them.
Cheongyak Home (applyhome.co.kr) is run by the Korea Real Estate Board, and its interface is in Korean. Menu names below are given in English with the Korean label in parentheses so you can find them on screen.
Start with the Cheongyak Home calendar

The calendar sits under Schedules & Statistics (청약일정 및 통계) → Subscription Calendar (청약캘린더) (Cheongyak Home calendar). Pick a year and month at the top, or press the Today (오늘) button to jump back to the current month. The grid only shows weekdays, Monday to Friday.
Set the filters before you read anything. Under supply type (공급유형) you can toggle apartment special supply, 1st priority, 2nd priority, unranked (무순위), discretionary supply (임의공급) and resupply after illegal transactions, plus separate groups for officetels and similar units and for publicly supported private rentals. Under region (공급지역) you choose Seoul, the metropolitan cities (Gwangju, Daegu, Daejeon, Busan, Sejong, Ulsan, Incheon) or the provinces (Gangwon, Gyeonggi, the two Gyeongsang, the two Jeolla, Jeju and the two Chungcheong provinces). For a first pass, keep only apartment special supply, 1st and 2nd priority and the regions you care about. If you are hunting leftover units, look at unranked and discretionary supply separately.
Read the calendar for rhythm rather than names. The same project often appears on consecutive days as special supply, then 1st priority, then 2nd priority. The usual sequence for one notice is recruitment notice, special supply, 1st priority, 2nd priority, winner announcement, document submission and contract (Jupsunow schedule guide). The calendar focuses on application days, so it is not the place to confirm the announcement, paperwork or contract dates.
Keep in mind that the calendar lists projects whose recruitment notice is already out. A complex mentioned in news or videos as coming soon has no confirmed application day until its notice is published.
Match the notice date, window and announcement in the APT list
Next, open Schedules & Statistics → Sales Info/Competition (분양정보/경쟁률) → APT (Cheongyak Home APT listings). It covers upcoming projects and housing supplied within the past five years. You can query up to 12 months at a time and narrow results by housing type (private 민영 or national 국민), region, sale or rental, and project name.
The columns are region, housing type, sale/rental, project name, builder, contact, notice date, application period, winner announcement, special supply applications and 1st/2nd priority competition. Three of them matter for scheduling:
- Notice date (모집공고일): the reference date for eligibility such as residence, length of residence and age.
- Application period (청약기간): the span from the first special supply day to the last 2nd priority day. Check the per-type dates on the detail page.
- Winner announcement (당첨자발표): the day results become available, and the date to compare across projects.
Clicking the project name, application period or announcement header re-sorts the list. Sorting by announcement date groups projects that announce on the same day, which helps you avoid conflicting applications. Clicking a project name opens its notice details, including special supply, 1st priority (local and other-area) and 2nd priority dates, the announcement and contract dates, and the notice file.
Some rows show "contact the developer" (사업주체문의) instead of figures. Public-sale projects can take applications outside Cheongyak Home, so check the application venue on the detail page and in the notice. For LH public housing, also check LH Cheongyak Plus.
Read the recruitment notice in this order

Notices are long, so go straight to the date and eligibility items first:
- Notice date and eligibility reference date. The first recruitment notice date is the cut-off for residence period, age and local priority. Moving in after the notice date does not make you a local resident for that project (Jupsunow schedule guide). For private housing, any deposit shortfall in your subscription account must be topped up by the notice date.
- Application date for each supply type. Write down special supply, 1st priority and 2nd priority separately and focus on the one you will use.
- Local versus other-area days. In overheated speculation districts and subscription-overheated areas, 1st priority applications for local residents and other-area residents fall on different days, with locals first.
- Winner announcement and how to check it. Note the date, where to check, and any overlap with other projects.
- Document submission window. It tends to be short, and some notices state that failing to submit in time counts as giving up the contract.
- Contract dates and down payment. Amounts and payment methods vary by notice.
- Application venue and hours. If the venue is the internet, apply on Cheongyak Home; otherwise follow the venue stated in the notice.
Once these seven items are in a table, read the price, resale restrictions, residence obligations and interim-payment loan sections only for projects you qualify for. If a date in the calendar or a news story differs from the notice, follow the notice.
Cross-check dates against the legal intervals
Schedules follow intervals set by the Rules on Housing Supply (주택공급에 관한 규칙). Comparing the notice with these three checks catches copying mistakes (Jupsunow schedule guide, summarising the version in force from June 15, 2026):
← Swipe to see more
| Check | Rule | How to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Notice to first application | The notice must be published 10 days before the first application day (Article 21). Some institution-recommended special supply can be shortened to 5 days. | Count from the notice date to the first application day |
| 1st priority in regulated areas | Local and other-area 1st priority days must differ, locals first (Article 19(4)). | See whether 1st priority is split over two days |
| Contract timing | Contracts are signed over at least 3 days, starting after 11 days have passed from the winner announcement (Article 59). | Count from the announcement to the contract start |
Unranked supply and resupply of cancelled contracts follow the dates set in their notice instead of the 11-day gap, so they can move much faster. The legal intervals are minimums, and real schedules can be longer, especially for public sale housing, where income and asset checks follow document submission.
Put each task on your own calendar
Cheongyak Home offers an alert service (청약알리미) in the same menu, but treat it as a backup, not your schedule.
- Right after the notice: use the eligibility menu (청약자격확인) to check household members, home ownership, subscription restrictions and your account ranking, and try the practice menu (공고단지 청약연습) to rehearse the screens and certificates.
- Application day: applications and cancellations on Cheongyak Home run from 09:00 to 17:30 on the relevant day, and every step must be finished before 17:30 or the application is cut off (Cheongyak Home APT application). Entering wrong details that lead to a win on the wrong eligibility or ranking can bring cancellation of the win and contract and restrictions on future applications.
- After applying: your application history can be viewed for three months after applying.
- Announcement day: check results under 청약당첨조회. The results lookup runs for 10 days from the announcement; after that, use the past-win lookup (APT당첨사실조회).
- Paperwork and contract: prepare documents straight after the announcement and have the down payment ready.
Common scheduling mistakes
Relying on the calendar alone is the first trap, since a regulated-area project can split 1st priority across two days. Moving house or topping up a deposit after the notice date is the second, because eligibility is fixed on that date. Applying to two projects with the same announcement date is the third: one special supply and one general supply application for the same project are allowed, but projects sharing an announcement date should be treated as one application per person. Treating leftover-unit schedules like regular ones is the fourth. The fifth is starting late in the afternoon, because 17:30 is the deadline to finish, not to log in.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Cheongyak Home calendar show upcoming projects before the notice?
No. It shows application dates for projects whose recruitment notice has been published. Projects without a notice have no confirmed application day yet.
In what order do special supply and priority applications usually run?
For one project, special supply, 1st priority and 2nd priority typically follow one another. In overheated speculation districts and subscription-overheated areas, 1st priority is split into a local day and an other-area day, locals first. Always use the dates in the notice.
What time does the application window close on Cheongyak Home?
Applications and cancellations run from 09:00 to 17:30 on the application day, and the final submission must be completed before 17:30.
How long after the winner announcement is the contract signed?
Under the Rules on Housing Supply, contracts are signed over at least three days starting after 11 days have passed from the announcement. Unranked supply and resupply of cancelled contracts follow the dates in their notice and can be shorter.
Can I move into the area after the notice and still apply as a local resident?
No. Residence and length of residence are judged on the first recruitment notice date, so moving in after that date does not meet the local-resident requirement for that project.
